Johnny Romeo is a resident Los Angeles poet who has performed at numerous open mic events, including the original Highland Grounds series.
He has been featured on live radio station broadcasts in New York, Toronto and Los Angeles and recorded the groundbreaking spoken word CD Formosa Avenue.
Romeo is also known for a series of live concerts at Cafe Luna on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles. Hosted by James Engel, the concerts were very well received
by audiences and critics alike.
